Part of the LOUS-review
Survey of PFOS, PFOA and other perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances. This survey is part of the Danish EPA’s review of the substances on the List of Undesirable Substances (LOUS). The report define the substances groups and present information on the use and occurrence of PFOS, PFOA and other perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl, internationally and in Denmark, information on environmental and health effects, on alternatives to the substances, on existing regulation, on monitoring and exposure, waste management and information regarding ongoing activities under REACH, among others.

Kortlægning af PFOS, PFOA og andre perfluoralkyl- and polyfluoralkylforbindelser. Denne kortlægning er et led i Miljøstyrelsens kortlægninger af stofferne på Listen Over Uønskede Stoffer (LOUS). Rapporten definerer stofgrupperne og indeholder blandt andet en beskrivelse af brugen og forekomsten af PFOS, PFOA og andre perfluoralkyl- and polyfluoralkylforbindelser, internationalt og i Danmark, en beskrivelse af miljø- og sundhedseffekter af stofferne, og viden om alternativer, eksisterende regulering, moniteringsdata, eksponering, affaldsbehandling og igangværende aktiviteter under REACH.
