Leaching of problematic substances during storage of WEEE

This report describes the performance and the results of leaching tests on three different types of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). The aim of the leaching tests was to provide insight into the leaching and potential environmental impacts of metals, metalloids, salts, dissolved organic carbon, polychlorinated biphenyls, phthalates, organotin compounds and brominated flame retardants (with special focus on “novel” brominated flame retardants) during temporary outdoor storage scenarios.

Projektet har til formål at øge vores viden om udvaskning af problematiske stoffer fra elektronikaffald. Konkret har projektet i en udført udvaskningsforsøg med en række konkrete elektronikprodukter som har stået midlertidigt udækket og målt på udledning herfra.
