Posters

Spread the word!

In order to share knowledge about how to support a circular textile economy, two posters for educational and training purposes have been developed. Please find further information about the posters and how they can be used below.

40% of all clothes are inactive

According to The Danish Consumer Council, 40% of clothes owned by consumers aged 25 to 50 are inactive or passive. This poster shows actions everyone can take to avoid or limit textile waste. The poster can be displayed in public places, schools and educational institutions as inspiration or for teaching and training purposes. That could be in workshops or for discussions on more sustainable consumer behavior as part of e.g. social sciences classes, arts and crafts classes, in repair cafés and other public places where citizens and experts can come together.

80% of product impact is driven by design

The majority of product environmental impact is driven by design. By using circular design principles, the environmental impact of products can be reduced. The poster shows circular design principles and can be used for education and training of e.g. design students, employees at textile companies and professional buyers. The poster can be used to inspire changes in design by discussing how one can design to keep products in use for as long as possible, eliminate waste and pollution and to improve environmental aspects, such as biodiversity, air and water quality.
